Dr. David Ngo obtained his Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of Maryland Baltimore and his Bachelor's degree in Psychobiology from UCLA. He completed his PGY-1 residency at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring. He also received an Executive Masters of Business Administration from Quantic School of Business and Technology.David is the CEO and a founding member of the healthcare technology company, Metis Health. He currently serves as an Expert Advisor on healthcare information technology at U.S. Pharmacopeia (USP) and is a Section Advisor on Clinical Applications for the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP).In addition, he draws from his previous experience as the Clinical Pharmacy Manager at Holy Cross Germantown Hospital. As the Clinical Pharmacy Manager, David won multiple awards, including: Star of the Quarter, Stop the Line Award for patient safety, and Baxter's Leadership Excellence Awards in Pharmacy. David is an assistant clinical professor at University of Maryland Baltimore School of Pharmacy, where he won the Preceptor of the Year award in 2015.He also served on MSHP's Board of Directors and as treasurer of the University of Maryland Alumni Association.
